Returns & Exchanges Shipping Policy

RETURNS

All items offered for sale on www.abweldingsupply.com, with the exception of open boxes of filler metals, are returnable within 14 days of delivered date. The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges to get merchandise back to A&B WELDING SUPPLY. All returned merchandise must be in original factory carton, including all packaging materials, manuals and all accessories. Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the original manufacturers carton. All returns must have an A&B Welding Supply issued ìReturned Merchandise Authorization number in order for credit to be given. Any items returned without an RMA and/or that are not in brand new, unused, sellable condition are subject to a restocking fee or refusal at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse any item that is damaged, altered, missing packaging or accessories or has written on or taped on contents. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your return merchandise credit to be processed.
*Please note that ALL international orders are FINAL SALE! We cannot accept returns on merchandise once it leaves the United States.
Exchanges. If you’d like to exchange your purchase, please contact us so that we may provide you with an RMA number. Then simply return the new, unused item in its original packaging with the RMA written instructions in the box. Please do not write the number on factory carton. Once we receive your exchange, we’ll send you a PayPal request to cover the shipping cost of the new item. Once we receive payment, we’ll ship out the new item and email you a tracking number.Cancellations. If you need to cancel your order, give us a call immediately at (786) 242-9001 and have your order number ready. As long as your order has not shipped yet, we’ll be able cancel the order and refund your money. Orders that have already been shipped can be returned for a refund.

SHIPPING POLICY

A&B WELDING SUPPLY utilizes USPS and UPS at our discretion to the lower 48 states depending on weight and value of the entire order. Customers providing only a PO Box for shipping will be asked to provide a valid physical shipping address. All orders generally ship within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Shipping time is typically 3-5 business days from date of order for all equipment in stock but may be longer depending on weather or other circumstances.
Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico:
US Postal Service Priority Mail is our standard shipping method to AK, HI and PR. USPS Priority Mail typically takes 5-14 days to arrive to you and is not traceable. Delivery confirmation is included on all USPS shipments and is included in your charge.
International Shipments:
All international shipment are calculated in real time on our website with the items in your carts total weight and your country’s selected postal code. Please note that duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and not A&B Welding Supply.
Freight Shipments:
Freight shipments will require both a signature for delivery as well as require that you have a shipping address provided can accept deliveries via semi-truck. Please note that you will be required to get the item off of the truck. You will be notified prior to shipping of this policy. Your order will not be shipped until we receive verification that you will be available to receive this delivery. Special handling or equipment may be required (such as forklift or truck with lift gate). In some cases the common carrier may require customer pick-up at their closest terminal for deliveries outside normal service areas.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:

External damage to all packages must be refused and A&B WELDING SUPPLY must be contacted immediately. Deliveries made by common carrier (LTL freight) must be inspected both outside AND inside. Please check your merchandise thoroughly and refuse the delivery if there is any damage. Contact us immediately
for a replacement. Internal damage not reported at the time of delivery must be reported to A&B WELDING SUPPLY within 14 days of receipt. Damage claims will
be refused if the item has been used, is not in original packaging, or was received more than 14 days earlier. Freight (palletized) deliveries that were not refused or signed for as damaged may take up to 2 weeks to undergo the proper claims process, and customer will be subject to the claims settlement decision by the freight carrier.

DEFECTIVE MACHINERY / MERCHANDISE:

The customer may contact A&B WELDING SUPPLY about a defect within 14 days of receipt. The customer will have two choices:

  1. Take the defective machine to an Authorized Miller or Thermal Dynamics Service Facility for warranty repair.
  2. Ship the machine back to A&B WELDING SUPPLY in exchange for a new machine of the same model. The customer MUST have an A&B WELDING SUPPLY-issued “Return Merchandise Authorization” number, the machine must be in original packaging, and the customer is responsible for any freight charges back to A&B WELDING SUPPLY. A new machine will not be shipped until the malfunctioning machine is received and inspected by A&B WELDING SUPPLY.
    Machine defects detected after 14 days of original receipt must be repaired under the manufacturers factory warranty policy at an Authorized Miller or Thermal Dynamics repair facility. The customer is responsible for transporting his/her machine to and from the service facility.
